Our History
Starting out with mere transportation goods (mostly consumer products) to the local markets in chennai, the company expanded its services by increasing ts fleet of trucks and channelising their focus towards export and import, air and sea freight.
Before long, the business expanded its srvices to include transpotation of goods all over the state of Tamil Nadu and some parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka as well.
Given its rapid expansion, the business had to recolate to a larger facility more suitable for their operations to a depot in based out of Guindy, Tamil Nadu.
Company Ownership Structure
Lakshmi Transport is incorporated under the MSME, Government of India on1998.
The company is owned and managed by Mr. S K Srinivasan, who has a plethora of more than 30 years of experience within the transport industry.
Built on the solid roots of his first-hand experience of rising through the ranks from a truck driver to the operations manager, he is well equipped and experienced to maintain operations and cost effectiveness for the business.
Member of Tamil Nadu State Lorry Owners Association Member of SIMTA (South India Motor Transport Association) Our labour force consists of semi-skilled and skilled employees and to ensure overall efficiency and quality output, standard operating procedures are followed regularly.
We currently have 35 employees on our roster, including the administrative division.
